Here is the church and here is the steeple. Open the doors and see all of Gods people.

That is to say that the people are the church.
Question? Is this what Jesus meant when he said that they would destroy the temple and he'd rebuild it in 3 days?

Was He saying that He was the temple and he and his followers are the new temple ( ie Church ) ?

You seem to be saying that community worship or church is necessary to experience God to His fullest. And without this we are essentially lost in that we cannot grow without it and all will suffer in the end.

Are you also saying that without a community or group of people that one cannot fully experience the love of God or love God to the fullest?

Seems like you are saying that while we might have private lives where we as you put it exercise our spirituality, that it is also necessary to come together with others to exercise it publicly as well.
If we don't, then well we are just not growing and our spiritual health will suffer along with the others who don't gather with those of like minds and spirits.

Seems rather harsh to me to say that unless you engage in public worship of some type that you just can't experience God's love or God to the fullest.
Maybe that is not what you are saying and I just took it the wrong way. But if that is what was meant, then I don't get it.

Is church really that necessary?

And just how many people does it take to be a church?

I'm confused just where does all of this leave the believers who don't go to church?Angie Hammondhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10064017427849522392noreply@blogger.com
